Question Ayurvedic medicines for irregular periods

My niece is 22 years old and she has irregular periods. Are there any ayurvedic medicines for making them regular?

Thanks,

Nainika

I have heard that Asokarishtam is good for menstrual issues. Have you consulted an ayurvedic physician?

In ayurveda there is a medicine called "Kumaryasavam" its based on sahasra yoga

it is avaialble in kottackal arya vaidyasala or vaidyaratnam.

in sampradaya its usage is like follows:-

wake-up early morning, have a bath and take 10 ml face to eastern side and have it silently. evening 10 ml after washing hands, legs and face take the medicine gently and calmly.

2nd week increase the doss to 15 ml

3rd week 20 ml.

make a glass of juice with one carrot and a piece of beetroot in luke warm water.[just crush in mixi and squeese] dont add sugar or salt. haveit regularly with breakfast.

pathya : avoid tea/cofee during treatment.

all the best

Hi Nainika,

One spoon of black sesame seeds+1spoon jaggery if taken daily in the morning helps to regularize the periods.

Take care,
Sarachandra

For irregular periods there is an ayurvedic remedy which u can prepare at home

for that u need
1) water--1 glass
2) jeera-- 1 tsp(10 gms)
3) pattika bellam(telugu) (crystal form of sugar)- 1 tsp
procedure:

add a tsp of jeera to 1 glass of water and let it boil till it becomes 1 cup...to this add pattika bellam/ kanda chekara/crystal form of sugar
and drink this daily early morning for about a month. and see the results.....
believe me its tasty and worth ..try this out.....
but u must do this for month without fail
