Hi friends,
I need your help badly. Nowdays I am very weak and have fatigue and can't do even home activities. When I consulted a doctor she made all the tests.Everything is o.k. But B.P is 150-100 and it is unbelievable to me. She advised to come back after 10 days after a restricted diet. My dear friends, is there any natural remedy to lower it? When yoga is done I have strong back pain especially during the sleep. I am very mush worried and don't like to take medicine at this age. Please help as soon as possible.
Thanking you

Dear Anu,
Last week I also had some giddiness and headache. When I consulted the doctor I had a BP of 90-150/ Doctor asked me if I had taken any food other than the usual one.Actually last week I had taken Lemon achar and intake of salt was a liitle high. So he asked me to reduce the salt immediately and take for a walk for one houir. I started walking for one hour around 4 km. The giddiness almost stopped. I used to yoga and Paranayam for the last 2 years. But it was not enough. So I recommend walking
Best wishes

Anu2001,
if you are still having the same 150/100 and are having weight problems along with any hereditary of hypertension/b.p in the family, it is better to get a profile and then go on to use medicines for the same.
You can control salt. take lots of water. This will help only if it was just a single episode.
Do not try to go in for home remedies alone. these days kids in the age of 15 are being treated for hypertension.
Do not try yoga/exercises that give you pain, without the approval from your physician.
(P.S. I am taking medicines for my heart which keeps my pulse/pressure under control from the age of 31..)

Dear Anu,
As our Shanvy sister told, even younger generation poeple in teens or 20s are diagnosed with hypertention now a days due to stress or bad dietery habbits.
Lifestye changes will keep high blood pressure under control along with taking medicine, do yoga, meditation, good diet with less or no salt, lots of water intake. keeping our mind worry-free and stress free are some changes you can try.
If you are really intersted in Yoga, take yoga lessons, and then practise at home, dont do by yourself as it may hurt you.
Sujatha.

Even i am also suffering from the same. I have BP 140/110.
Sodium is main enemy for BP. Try to consume less salt, and food that enriched in high sodium level. Like cookies, preservative foods etc.
Try to avoid junk and oily foods, excess intake of caffein, smoking.
Regular intake of 1-2 tablespoon of Gooseberry juice with honey in empty stomach in the early morning have a positive effect in reducing High BP.

Increase the garlic intake, that sometimes helps. Also add eggplants to your diet. Increase your exercise wether it's walking, jogging or any other form.
Salt is the biggest enemy of high blood pressure so avoid salt in your food. It takes a while to get used to not adding salt to everything we cook but slowly it can be a habit to transform into.
