| Hey Jeena I used to be very very slim I should say lean or thin..But just before my wedding I had tried something and it worked well to put on weight and i got a bit chubby also.. I have joined gym I used to go 3 times in a week for 30 to 45 mins..usually worked with weights/dumbells...and after 1 month of going to gym I stopped ..I had automatically gained the weight... While going to gym..I used to have a glass of milk and soaked and peeled almonds...also never skip lunch during that time...have plenty of paneer or cheese or butter dishes...if possible have cheese pizzas. it worked for me...I know its kind of unhealthy...however it made me retain some weight... |

| Hi Jeena, Oh you lucky one! Here we are trying to shed the pounds we got. HMMph. First of all having white discharge on agew days of every cycle is not a disease. But if u have it continuosly throughout the month or if it has some colour changes and smell then we should definitely consider it and get it treated. As u know having white discharge (more) might also be a reason for not picking up weight. Since I cant see u in person I cant be giving out prescriptions. But I suggest u follow these following home reemdies and am sure u ll get relieved soon. 1. Keep ur body cool. Drink lots of fluids ( u can have fruit juices with added sugar, milk with dry fruits, tender coconut water with tht young kernel) 2. Try to snack often. Eat handfull of roasted dryfruits almost twice r thrice a day. It actuallya dds to teh good fat in the body and is very good for ur heart in the long run. 3. Eat paneer, cheese, pulses everyday. Have either one of them for every meal. Like u can have cheese bread for the breakfast, dal n rice for lunch n chapthies and gravies with paneer for dinner. 4. Increase the amonut of dals and rice and chapthies. Go for deep fried food in moderation. U can even eat a bar chocolate everyday. 5. If u r in India u can get one pack of aswagandhi lehiyam and have one tbsp everyday twice after food and have a glass of milk after that. Gal , remeber u r one of the lucky few who get to stay young always. So have a free uncontrolled diet and enjoy. Regards, CC

| Dear Lahy , Yes. U can give aswagandhi lehiyam to ur kid. But I suggest nellikkai lehiyam r dabur chyawanprash for kids as it ll be more palatable n ll also give immuntiy against coomon cold infections. Regards, CC

| Hi CC, I'd been thru ur posts. I'm also one among who dearly wishes to put on weight. I'm 166cm/51 kg. tooo skinny right? delivered 8months back.after delivery i was 60 kgs and how i wished if i could maintain the same...! i know we lose some calories after delvery due to breast feeding..but this was tooo much! i feel i'm going down again.. wat shall i do? during postpartum diet I had aswagandhadi lehyam & soubhagya sunti for more than 2 months. I plan to continue BF till my baby is 1.5 rs old. expecting valuwable suggestions .. Reshmi |
