Hi, Once you are married, you must follow your husbands Kula Deivam. In case of separated, you can follow your fathers kula deivam, just do a puja for them. Everything gets solved. Just ask your father relatives like their brothers or sisters abt it.
Yes once you are married your husband custom and kula deivam is followed. If separated, following fathers custom makes sense.
