Dear C

I made pesarattu and ginger chutney on friday and it was awesome. They were a made for each other combo. Absolutely loved it.

On saturday, made moong dhal chakli. Have been wanting to try it for quite some time and could do it now. Absolutely wonderful for a chakli with no butter or any shortening. Also tried a few in MW method mentioned in the MW chakli. It was done in just 2 minutes. As you mentioned, it was crisp and good, but not crunchy like the traditional one. But who cares, especially if there is someone around who should avoid oil and fried items...!

Yesterday, made bisibela bath( with vegetables ). It is a repeat and is foolproof as ever.

Dear Sowmi,
I am glad you have started trying ice creams. If we can get fresh cream, making ice cream at home is a child's play!
With a small child, this will work out economical as well as healthy.
Yes, I too am not able to upload pictures. I have asked Laxmi to look into it.
Love,
Chithra.

Dear Gayathri,
The combination of pesarattu and ginger chutney is one top ranking combination. Do try stuffing upma inside once. It is just YUM.
So, you tried MW chakli?? I am extremely happy. Now I think, we can keep it as a jiffy snack, instead of elaborating with oil etc. Ofcourse, we can eat guilt-free to our heart's content with tea or coffee!!
BBB is an old "darling" !
Love,
Chithra.

Dear Mrs.Chitra,
Made Idiyappam and sodhi yesterday. Usually I make vadaikari to go with idiyappam. Tried sodhi and it was too good and made excellent combo.
Also made korda to go with golden brown roast dosai per your recipe. Awesome!
Very tasty and very simple to make.
Thankyou so much for these recipes.
Regards,
Deepa
