Very good thread

Thanks Chitra maami for taking all the effort and putting not only the recipes but also the puja formats (amongst other things). You are truly an inspiration and a model for us. You give us a very important message with your work that age does not matter, that attitude does. Wishing you many decades of health and happiness ahead. (the cups in the image have iced coffee).

What a wonderful thread!

Chitra Maami, thank you very much. You are a real inspiration to us and have never failed me in any of my queries, given such prompt replies. Your recipes are amazing and I am always trying out some recipe or the other. My hubby is one happy man!

I hope I can meet you someday
Love, Muskaan

Dear Friends,

I too want to join the thread in thanking Chitra Aunty. I joined IL just because of Chitra Aunty's posts about puja and prayers. Now, it has become a daily practice for me to go into the receipe index of Chitra Aunty for my day to day cooking. Everyone likes the dishes I prepare using Chitra Aunty's receipe index. Everytime when I get an appreciation, I pray that it goes to Chithra Aunty.

Her contributions to IL is really a POKKISHAM for us. I sincerely pray God to give all happiness to her and family.

Thank you Chithra Aunty...Thanks a lot for all what you are doing....As everybody said thank you may be a small word, but when I say thank you I MEAN it.

May God pour all his blessing on you. Thank you Aunty.

Love
Nalini Rajalingam

Friends, I dont know how to express my overwhelming thanks and gratitude to our great chitra mami because I always think whenever I refer to her recipes and cook, and when it comes out so well and when I receive compliments from each and every one ,that not mere words of thanks are enough and she deserves something more.
Dear chithra mami " May God bless you and your family and let joy join you and keep you all your days"

hi,

My internet was down for the last two days and just became alright and i immediately logged on to IL and straight to Chitvish forum. Usually i see the new items posted and then go to the post your comments section, but today reading the heading "A word of thanks to chitra maam" i immediately entered.

Nice to have started the thanks thread in this forum itself. I too join in thanking madam whole heartedly for this immense work she has been doing for years together. I admire her tireless reply to all of us the query being small or big, silly or worthy. Just for us she has been trying new recipes, collecting info, taking snaps, or welcoming ILites who visit her with cheer and warmth and insist we have something to eat. On top of all this she has been doing it without expecting any benefit from IL.

thanks madam,

Love

Sundari bhaskar

I should have been the first to Thank you.. coz, I was such a novioce in cooking when I joined IL...

Firsty I should thank her, coz only becoz of Chitramma I continued to be in IL... Otherwise, I would have visitesd IL just like any other forum.

Then my DH being very particular in taste and vzriety of foods, I was zero in that.. and he cooks better than me (even now is a different story)... So he was so upset that I dont cook according to his taste... Thank god.. Chitramma helped me to succeed in that...

As Latha said, Thanks is a very small word... But that is the only word I know...

Thanks Chitramma...

Vidyaa
