for lunch made vendakkai thayir pachadi (to go with tomato rice). by slight over-sight i fried the vegetable a wee bit more and it was bitter:( next time will be careful!!
DH said the madurai hotel sambar wasn't bitter. must be my tongue gone senseless with the nasty throat infection. today i'm unable to talk and you know who is the happiest at our home
