Dear Chithra Mami,

Made morkootu today with dosakkai/vellarikka. It is very yummy. Such a wonderful 2-in-1 dish - just dilute and make it morkoottaan. We had it with BG sambar. Kitchen smelling divine

Thank you for all your wonderful recipes, Chithra Mami,

-Sindhu

oh Raji... amazing wonderful spread. and so neatly arranged.

so which pineapple rice recipe did you follow? my tummy is growling at the thought of those lovely jamuns with ice cream slurp slurp

for sure i'm coming to singapore...

Chithramma,

for lunch made vendakkai thayir pachadi (to go with tomato rice). by slight over-sight i fried the vegetable a wee bit more and it was bitter:( next time will be careful!!

DH said the madurai hotel sambar wasn't bitter. must be my tongue gone senseless with the nasty throat infection. today i'm unable to talk and you know who is the happiest at our home.

My dear Chithra,

For today's lunch I made Pachai milagu kuzhambu and paragi halwa curry along with keerai masiyal. The milagu kuzhambu was super and yet jiffy. Like you mentioned it went well with curd rice. Parangi halwa curry was also very tasty and made a nice combo with kuzhambu. I added less sugar as I used ripe pumpkin. Altogether we had a wonderful lunch. Thanks for sharing such tasty recipes.

Love and regards
Priya
