| Dear Vijee, I am sending you chilli paneer recipe by PM. For Karachi halwa, did you follow the measurements accurately? First time, either you boiled the sugar syrup a little more OR removed the halwa a little late. Second time, you hae removed it in a hurry. The entire ghee must be absorbed & will start being given out. Remove then. Do not worry, Vijee. Sweets need practice!! Love, Chithra. Quote:

| Dear Chithra, I am hearing so much about the food processor and the chopping machine. Would it be too much if I request you to post the photos of the equipments needed for a kitchen? Sometimes we buy one brand, thinking that it would be convenient but then find it to be useless. To avoid that, we could use a tried and tested brand. R is ever ready to get me gadgets but I want to buy only those which I would be using regularly. If possible, please post. Otherwise, it s okay. |

| Dear Varloo, With pleasure, ofcourse! I will take photos & post. My FP is Philips - the less costly one without citrus juicer, costing 3800Rs. That citrus juicer, I have one. This has grater - 3 blades, food processor, liquidiser.Which is the chopping machine? FP is good for all doughs for chappathis etc, besides chopping cabbage, onions etc.. Ulundu vadai comes out "soooooooooper"! Today for a lunch, I am making it. Love, Chithra. |

Thanks for readily agreeing to varloo's request. to you.Dear Varloo, Thanks a ton for coming up with this query. |

| Dearest Chithra mami, I love your recipies!!! For a person who never really cooked, you have detailed everything in such a easy to follow manner.. Recently I went to a party and ate some fried idli masala... sounds like a oxymoron with idli being one of the healthiest food out there and frying it.. but it was delicious and I have some leftover idlis from my MIL that I now want to convert it Please help!!
