namaskarams. Hope you and mama are doing fine. After a long gap i just leisurely went through all your threads, which is always a relaxing and very informative and a boost for my energyBig Laugh..
I prepared 3 varities of Aval today . Puli aval, thengai aval, and vella aval.. It was soooooooooooooo yummy and heavenly.

Mami, i am going to come to your House oneday and silla Wonderful gadgets a yeduthundu vanduda poren. Just ippo than i saw that thread( added items) The Fokin cooker is soooooo nice. The pan cake maker is wonderful. I dont know how to get that laddle with vertical handle, which is very very useful for frying small items. I used to use the steel strainer( kaiya suttupen most of the times)
Steamer cum drainer is also very very nice.
I think atleast for these i have a to make a trip to singapore . Mostly this week end or next i will get the scraper from Daiso.

For mixi 3:1, may be for grinder 4:1.

Hello. Thank you for the recipe. Since Iam new to IL, I could not locate your reply till my mother told me how to go about it. I will try out your recipe for Diwali and get back to you. I made one lot this morning using an old recipe since it was my MIL's shraddham. Thank God it was edible.

I am looking at the Post-pregnancy rasam recipe at Rasams- the tongue ticklers !. Amma plans to make the powder today. I have a few questions around it...

I am still having peppers and am avoiding red chilli. Is it alright to have this rasam with red chilli? If not, should I wait for another 2 weeks or should I replace the red chilli with pepper?

Also, can the quantity of garlic be reduced?
