| Dear Raji, As you go through life, you learn so much. Don't underestimate yourself unnecessarily. There may so many negative traits in me, which only others will know & not me! As I write to Aishu, please stop crying. That only depresses you & fills up with negative energy! Love, Chithra. Quote:

| Dear Shanti, Thankyou for the nice words. But please remember that working women will have more a "juggling routine" ! If after reading my post, you understand your MIL better, that will be a great achievement for me! Love, Chithra. |

| Dear Chithra madam, ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() to u first for taking time to write up your routine n To shanthi for asking. I always wonder how u r so prompt in ur replies with personal touches to every reply. U know when u reply to a post, the way u reply , the time u take to reply even a small query , the way u remember the personal details of so many ppl n leave a personal touch in each of ur reply shows u truly care. care for the ppl around u. whether u know them personally r not U make an effort to connect with them n I shud say I feel very honoured when u reply my queries. Am a novice in cooking( cant find a level lower than tht) n u take time even to answer my silly queries. Everytime u answer my query I wonder how this lady gets time to answer the post so fast n so precise. Now after going thru a day in ur life post I am jus stunned. If I make a new dish which has turned out well, I want my husband to remember it for as many days as possible. If he compalins abt the food the next day r even the next week I feel very bad. I scold him as insatiable. But reading ur post made me see myself in different light. U do that everyday and make no big show abt it. U are someone to looked up upon in everything from vedanta to blogging n wat not. And even sfter being n doing so much U are a humbled self. Madam u make me feel simple n small. I now understand the importance of planning. After being n doing so much u still r so modest. Mam I bow to u. U really are a role model. I know this ll embarass u but absolute mastery has to be appreciated. U truly ve mastered the art of time management. And I am inspired by the way U do it all without complaining. I don ve words to describe my feeling. It surely is an eyeopener for me. I ll strive to be a better mom, wife, doctor, person wihtout bothering abt whether my efforts get the appreciation. I understand that there s really no short cuts to being a better person, u jus have to be it to feel like it. Today I swear, Ill try to make use of my time more producitvely without cribbing n in all try to be a better me.Regards, CC

| Dear CC, You made me cry with your emotional feedback. I am a people's person & I love humanity. I find it very fascinating to watch for two react differently to the same situation. That made me realise that perspectives are widely different with each & everything & everybody has to be accepted "as is, where is". You must remember that I am very much elder to you & gone through so many patches in life. So, I am sure, by the time you all become my age, you will have better discriminative power etc borne out of experience. Thans a ton, CC. Love, Chithra. Last edited by Chitvish; 1st May 2008 at 11:45 PM. |

| Dear Chitra, I make Bisibela, both types (with and without vegetables) atleast once in a month and each time it comes out well. I had just one doubt. I remember you mentioning in one of your responses to a query that the recipe without vegetables will taste best when it is made plain. Just wanted to know if i can add onions to it or is it best left plain. Sorry for this silly doubt. Love Hema |

| Dear Hema, I suggest, try without even onions. Whenever we add onion, it masks the basic flavour. So to get the real bisibela flavour. I suggest, try without onions. Love, Chithra. |

| Dear Padma, Cooking soda is only sodium bicarbonate - used in eggless cakes, cooking like dhokla, rava idli etc. Baking powder is the above + tartaric acid.- used in regular cakes Please go to Difference Between Baking Powder and Baking Soda I think, cooking soda is called meetha soda. Love, Chithra. |

| Dear Chitra I follow your idli receipes and always get soft idlis. If I want to use idli rava what measurements should I follow? I read yoru daily routine and it is a great inspiraion for many. LIke following your receipe tips we should also follow it word to word. There is so much to learn from you. I fortunate to be a friend of yours. With Best regards shubha. |
