Dear Ramya,
I have already given
Tandoori Potatoes
You may have missed it because, it is in the Cook N Bake thread !
In a few recipes, egg can b replaced by an extra banana.
For 1 cup of rice flour, boil 1 cup + 1 tbsp water. When it boils, reserve 2-3 tbsp & add the rest. If necessary, add the reserved amount. The proportion varies with the rice flour.
Love,
Chithra.

Dear Mrs chithra,
I am planning to have puja at home, and will have to make breakfast for 16 adults. planning to make idly sambhar, vadai, idiyappam , rava kichidi and few sweets.
will 50 idly be enough? since there are other dishes too? how many cups of toor dhal should i cook for making sambhar? will make coconut chutney for kichidi and another side dish for idiyappam ( kosamalli with brinjal). can u pls tell me how much sambar to make?

thanks,
Priya.

Hi,
Please go to
Doodh Peda
In future, I request you to go through both pages of
Check here - The Recipes Index
in detail, before asking a query here. Since I have indexed all recipes that I have given, it is futile for me to waste time in finding the link again.
Love,
Chithra.

Dear Priya,
Yes, along with other dishes, 50 idlis will be enough.
I think 2 cups of tur dhal will be OK for sambar. Because, in spite of chutney, this will be good with vadai also.
Love,
Chithra.

Hello Mrs.C,

Offlate, have been facing this problem with the tamarind paste.

If I put in sambar or rasam, it does disintegrates, but, not dissolving completely. Simply stays at the bottom and dont know what to do. Pls note that the gravy is boiling for quite some time too, taste of sambar or rasam is really good and no complaints of lack of sourness except for the above.

Suggestion pls..

Rgds.

Dear Ami,
Do not add the paste directly as such. Blend with 1/2-1 cup of water in the mixi & then add. It should be O K.
Love,
Chithra.
