Dear Chithra,
thanks a lot for the recipe. I shall make the greens oothappam also. I like different tastes, so now I am happy that the makki ki atta is also available.
I bought some soya kurunai from Nilgris. I know that you do not use soya, but still- can I use it just like rice kurunai for pidi kozhukkattai etc.? Or is it better to use it along with rice kurunai? Please look in the angle that it is a paruppu.

Dear Varloo,
Do not attempt kozukkattai with just soya kurunai. May be you can add it to rice kurunai & try.
Earlier, I used to add it to lapsi & make porridge with it.
Love,
Chithra.

Dear Priya,
Millet is "kambu" in tamil. I have given Thepla using it. You can make dosai followng the recipe I have given for atta dosai with urad.
Atta is whole wheat flour - not refined.
Maize is cholam - yellow or white.
Makai ka atta is (popcorn) chola mavu. I haave given bhathura & keerai oothappam with it. Yesterday I tries a pakdodawith it very successfully - will post it soon.
Today I made the shabnam curry & the family liked it a lot !
Love,
Chithra.
