Default Thankyou, Sakhi.

Dear Sakhi,
Thanks for promptly trying & sending me the feed back.
Yes, there is a Kadamba sadam the recipe of which, I have. It is made with rice, tur dhal & plenty of vegetables including keerai. My mother used to make it years back. I shall post it in due course.

Default macaroon recipe

Dear Chitra,

Its wonderful to see you all over the site.....sharing so many wonderful recipes with tips..... we guys are lucky to have u here, Chitra.

I was just wondering if u could give a recipe for MACAROONS.
whenever I try making this at home, its never evenly crisp - its crisp at the sides but the center is slightly soft but tastes great.

Thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooo much.

Love & Regards,

Default Dear Chitra!

Thank you so much for the recipies. One more thing i would like to ask you. I dont know whether you have any idea or whether you have tried anytime. Last year when i had my kitty i had got this anjir (dry fruit halwa) from mithai shop and then i took crackers bscuits. I covered the whole top of biscuit with the halwa and on top of it spread cream. Garnished with cherry. It was yummy as biscuits were sour and halwa was sweet. My friends praised it a lot.

I have lots of sweets in my house (like barfi, Kaju katli, pista barfi etc) and all can be broken and made in form of halwa if i want but if i put again on biscuit it becomes same like last year so Can you suggest me something different but everybody should love it and praise it. This time i cant think only. So thought of taking help from you or other creative ladies.

Any creative idea pls pass it to me.

Cheers

Default Few suggestions.

Dear CMI,
I can send the recipes for (1)Orange sandesh (2)Baglawa - a classic persian sweet - pastry with walnut filling (3)Khurmani ka mitha- apricots (4)nut rolls with powdered cashew as covering & filling of cherries, dates & nuts (5)besan malai (6) malai badshah (7) sweet cherries. The list is endless.
If you can specify me any of these & if you definitely think you will make them, I shall post them. Each is fairly long & I need time to type them. Unless you decide on any of these, I need not hurry & send you.
Are you making any other recipe, I posted you ?
Regards,
Chithra.

Default request for recipes

Dear Mrs Chitra,

All the recipes posted today are interesting. And the makhanas kheer also sounded promising, I look forward to trying such new desserts.

I have a couple of requests:

One of the many positive aspects of your recipes is that they are fool-proof. Especially in measurements. And this fact could be really useful in making prasadams- since we cannot taste them first. So will it be possible to start a section on 'Food for the Gods'? I realise that we are a very diverse group in IL, still this would be of interest to many.

Will it be possible to post recipes of kolavade(kolbade) and khandvi?

As always, there is no hurry and it is worth waiting for the recipes.

Thanking you
best regards
Vidya
