Default Dear Eagle !

The batter is like idli maavu or thick oothappa maavu. If you put one ladleful on a tava, it should not spread on its own.
Here we take it for one day picnics. So, I think under the weather conditions there, it will stay for 2 days.
Love & chithra,
Chithra.

Default Meena, I had you in mind when I posted fruit salad !

Since you always ask for fruit recipes, this thought crossed my mind.
There is no hard & fast way about serving jelly with fruits ( soon I plan to post " Broken glass dessert" ). Set & chop jelly into pieces, gently mix with fruits & serve. You can combine 2, 3 different coloured jellies to get a sparkling effect !
Love & regards,
Chithra.

Default jain version ??

Dear Chitra ma'am
I avoid onion and garlic on Mondays & Thursdays..Is it possible to prepare subjis(which originally call for onions) without onions? Will there be a compromise in the taste?

regards
Honeybee

Default No, HB, not at all !

Unless onion is a main ingredient, you can make everything without onions - that is exactly what I do !
Love & regards,
Chithra.

Dear Mrs CV,
