Default Ridhi, so you are " ayyar athu maatu ponnu" now ?

Dear Ridhi,
I am very happy that your husband likes your cooking also, besides you !
I am not able to understand which navarathri, you are talking about ! Is it about one ( Sharada?) navarathri, which generally falls in April or the common one in Sep-Oct ?
If you let me know, it will be easy for me to post suitably.
Love & regards,
Chithra.

Default Dear Mrs Chithra

Last night I made ammini kozhakattai with korda. They were both delicious. I am making this for the second time and results were perfect. thank you. Will it be possible to post recipes for narthangai pachadi and narthangai urappu pickle? These two are favourites with my mother.

Are any other dishes possible with narthangai or kadarangai? Just to use less common fruit and veggies.

Thanks in advance
love & regards
Vidya

Default Dear Chitra

Thanks for ulundau adai recipe. I have soaked and will make tonight. Do you know how to make Maharshtrian batata wada? I tried many recipes but it comes like bonda. Also Chitra, please post more Sunday special. For big families like ours, they are very useful. Also good since we do not have to eat in hotel on sunday. Your vengaya sambar, roast, brinji, khara bhath- all super hit on sunday.

Default Hello Jana !

Batata wada is just like potato bonda except that minced garlic is added.
Jana, any pulao is a sunday special - rather, an elaborate one !
Since we are mainly rice eaters, only pulau varieties can be made as sunday specials !
Love & regards,
Chithra.

Default Doubt abt Poha Buns

Dear Mrs.Chitra,

Im planning to make stuffed poha buns today. I have a few doubts. Is the dough similar to idli/dosa batter. It says dough, so it is thick like a dough?
We are planning to travel this weekend, so was wondering if this Buns will stay good for 2 days?

Appreciate your response. You are AWESOME!!

Love
Eagle
