Dear Senorita,
Please write if you want to try cakes in regular oven. In that case, please refer to the thread on cakes & bakes.
In MW, if there is convection in your MW, follow the same procedure.
If it is just MW, cook on Hi for 6-8 mts depending on the size of the bowl.

Thank you for reply mam... actually i was looking for the procedure like how to bake cakes.. I mean the exact method...

The other day i have tried one method which one of mah friend has adviced but it din't turn up that tasty and even the texture was hard...

I will check in your baking thread, hope i'll get it...

Default MW Orange Marmalade - delicious, home-made!

Fresh orange juice - 1 cup

Grated ripe papaya - 1 cup

Orange rind - 1 tbsp

Sugar - ¼ cup

Citric acid - a pinch, mixed with 1 tbsp orange juice

Combine all ingredients except citric acid mixture in a large micro bowl & mix well.

MW Hi for 20-25 mts, stirring twice in between.

There should no running liquid.

Add citric acid mixture and mix well.

Cool & store refrigerated air-tight.

Default MW Strawberry Jam - jiffy for a hurry!

Select fresh, juicy starwberries. Blend in a mixi - need not be mashed thoroughly.Tiny fruit pieces add to the taste.

Fruit pulp - 1 cup

Sugar - 1/3 cup (varies with the taste of the fruit)

Lime juice - 2 tsp

Take all ingredients in a micro bowl.

MW Hi for 7-8 mts, till it falls in a sheet.

Cool & bottle.

Keep under refrigeration gor a week to ten days.

Thanks for all the recipes given by u...i hv the same MW as tht of urs....and would like to know if we can bake in the same....like baking macroni with cheese or cake....if yes then whether it should be done at med or high and for how many mins and also how much is 340 degrees for 20 min instuction in our microwave.

Dear Marina,
If you have Samsung like mine, you must bake in the Convection mode. There is no High or Medium. Preheat to 190 deg C & time for 15 mts. Bake for 5 more mts, if necessary.

Dear Ms. Chitra I am using the 800 watt counter-top model like tht of National model u mentioned before in urs beginning post....its has only low, med, med high and high manual controls....so is it possible to bake in such an oven.Or for baking purpose should i buy another MW(do suggest me some brands and model number if possible)
