Default Jack Fruit(kathal ki sabzi) Recipe

kathal ki sabzi

Ingredients
kathal-1/2 kg deseeded n cut into small pieces
onion large chopped finely - 2
tomatoes medium- 3 pureed to paste
coriander powder- 2 tsp
haldi - 1/2 tsp
red chilli powder- 1tsp
salt - to taste
garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
mutton masala MDH - 1tbsp
green chilli - 2-3 finely chopped
fresh coriander - 2-3 tbsp
ginger paste-1tsp
oil- 3 tbsp+ for frying


Method

Heat oil in the karahi, fry kathal till golden brown.

Heat oil in the wok add onions and ginger paste,saute on low flame till brown.
Add salt and tomato puree, saute till all the water evaporates and the oil leaves the sides of the wok.
Now add all the masalas, stir for 4-5 mins till oil comes out of the masala.
Now add kathal and 1/2 cup water. simmer it for 10 - 15 mins.
Keep stiring in between. Add fresh coriander, mix well and serve
