| Hi sunkan, too good. started laughing.but on a serious note, i have heard about kids, who put fire to themselves, thinking they can come out unharmed..seeing their heroes doing it. hurting themselves was very common because of the bows and arrows during the mahabaratha serial days.. when i tell my son, please don't watch jetix and all, he says, "mom I know what is real and what is animation and I will not imitate anybody"... But the moment there is a cricket match, he is out with his bat, and whole get up standing and swinging the bat... ![]() .My neighbours daughter she is 1.8 months, she will try to imitated hanging just like the kids in complan and she will be start acting like dora.... I really am worried what is happening to the kids of this generation.

| Dear Sundari, You really started very humoursly but lot of food for thought ! My younger daughter did the same thing. One day I had gone to take bath, she saw a candle & match box in her GF's room and lit it. To add more to that she took a paper and lighted the same, she didn't realise in the process she will burn her hands. My FIL who was in the other room saw from there and started shouting (as he cannot walk very fast due to a leg injury), hearing his shouts, my dd panicked and ran with the burning paper to the washbasin, by the time she had her hand burnt but not very seriously. By chance if the paper had fallen on the bed or the curtains had got fire...........God alone should have helped us !!!!!!!!

| Another thing that the kids imitate is beedis, cigars, drinks etc. Also, sometime back there was an incident of kids holding their breath or chocking or something similar which it seems gives a high...but they don't realise the consequence and one of the boys passed away. It was such a shock to the parents. |

my my roopa, how sad it is to hear, i started this thread for fun and now it shows a different plane of stuff i rather not remember but i do, i remember mixing soda and whisky and drinking just like my dad when 6yrs and never knew anything though my mother whacked me a lot but is a very bad state to realise that.yeah parents must be careful when the child is on the lap they should never smoke or drink showing how to mix or how to light a cigarette..sunkan
