Default A Mother's Banter Enjoyed This A Lot

I just rushed in to the dining room table hearing a big scream ! ! Was wondering what happened........ there my 3 yr old is standing on table and calling his brother stupid ? ??

my... my..... what happened?? i pulled him down and asked what he said..... ''supid gog'' i asked him what it mean..... he says it is the usual dialogue in cartoons ............and why were they fighting? '' he says he is goku '' said his brother 5 yr old..''ok ... so what''.....i asked

'' NOOOOOOOOO HE COULD BE FREEZA IF HE WISH......I AM GOKU'' he screamed.... ''who are they?'' -me ''cartoon characters'' I thought of sharing this when i read irfan's blog.... they are just 3 n 5.........what when they grow up???

I will do whatever i could to delay their watching home alone, mask n even king kong....and i am afraid they will change in to my terminators after watching terminator.......god save me from them.....i remember the saying kids in this birth are actually enemies in last.....?..?...?

I THINK I HAVE TO BELIEVE IT NOW.......my whole day is spent running after them....have to be careful about needle to washing machine..... if i am missing even after 1 month, pls inform police station............. aliens are better i guess......but god i really enjoy being with them.......trapped between two naughty kids.............

Hi sunkan,

too good. started laughing.but on a serious note, i have heard about kids, who put fire to themselves, thinking they can come out unharmed..seeing their heroes doing it. hurting themselves was very common because of the bows and arrows during the mahabaratha serial days..

when i tell my son, please don't watch jetix and all, he says, "mom I know what is real and what is animation and I will not imitate anybody"...

But the moment there is a cricket match, he is out with his bat, and whole get up standing and swinging the bat... .

My neighbours daughter she is 1.8 months, she will try to imitated hanging just like the kids in complan and she will be start acting like dora....

I really am worried what is happening to the kids of this generation.

Hi Sunkan
such things are really cute to read but sometime really scared about these things that kids see and do.
Like in Shaktiman, the way Mukesh Khanna use to spin the same way the kids use to try to spin and many of them use to get hurt. Instead the kids learning what is good in those serials will try just the opposite things.

Dear Sundari,

You really started very humoursly but lot of food for thought !

My younger daughter did the same thing. One day I had gone to take bath, she saw a candle & match box in her GF's room and lit it. To add more to that she took a paper and lighted the same, she didn't realise in the process she will burn her hands. My FIL who was in the other room saw from there and started shouting (as he cannot walk very fast due to a leg injury), hearing his shouts, my dd panicked and ran with the burning paper to the washbasin, by the time she had her hand burnt but not very seriously. By chance if the paper had fallen on the bed or the curtains had got fire...........God alone should have helped us !!!!!!!!

Another thing that the kids imitate is beedis, cigars, drinks etc.

Also, sometime back there was an incident of kids holding their breath or chocking or something similar which it seems gives a high...but they don't realise the consequence and one of the boys passed away.

It was such a shock to the parents.

my my roopa,
how sad it is to hear, i started this thread for fun and now it shows a different plane of stuff i rather not remember but i do, i remember mixing soda and whisky and drinking just like my dad when 6yrs and never knew anything though my mother whacked me a lot but is a very bad state to realise that.yeah parents must be careful when the child is on the lap they should never smoke or drink showing how to mix or how to light a cigarette..sunkan
