When we look at the categories who fall into this line, are great writers, in any language leaving behind legacy ofa good read, we may have collection of books from authors who are gone decades ago but live among us through their contribution to the writing world..

Next in the list are the singers, take thyagarajaa his contribution is enormous and there are many followers who have left behind legacy like our M.S.Subbulakshmi just by singing thyagaraja krithis among her other musical renders..

Even the film line is not behind in this legacy, we still shake our head to kishore kumar’s lilting music, S.D.Burman and many others who have been music directors will live on for ages to come in the mind of music lovers for generations together. Rocks the beatles, Elvis Presley, The song rendered by lata mangeshkar “ naam ghum jaayegaaa chehrah yeh badal jayegaaa meri awaaaaz his peh chaaan hai agar yaad rahe….

We can say the same to people who act in films, good films remain in the mind of masses for a long period of time, and the contributions never go waste. Some of them have become legends like our shivaji ganeshan, rajnikant , kamal hassan, to name a few from south, dilipkumar,dev anand, balraj sahani, and many others from north, in general the actors of any area will leave a void in their absence and will live for ages together in the mind of people.

Medical break through is also another profession that survives on one person’s contribution into this field with key hole surgery, stem cells and many other break through which we have come to achieve and made easier in our life. The successful surgery of conjoined twins which was never before all these are contributions for generations to come, Cancer can be cured now they say, AIDS also following into the same path, many look up for betterment in life.

The politicians who have contributed to the development of the nations also stay in the mind of people for generations to come, will we forget Mahathma Gandhi, Nehru, Dr.Radhakrishnan, Rajaji, J.F.Kennedy and many others who worked for the country’s benefit more than their personal life…

Teachers, are another class that remain with us like our parents who are a part of us in making what we are, with their doctrines of life, they also have this pleasure of being addressed at any age anywhere by the student as madam u remember me? One can just go up and say hi to them, they are our youthful memories, the most cherished part of our life.

there is a lot many furore for this article elsewhere and i felt y no one bothered here, it is the legacy left whether answered or not, and there are many who can be mentioned here, rabindranath tagore, in the painting section piccasso, vinci in short and vivekananda, and many others i forgot to include..left the space for all, but only vinobha bhave took the lead..sunkan
