Readymade 9 yards saree

Dear ILites,
I need to know about anyone selling ready-to-wear madisar sarees in Chennai.Also i need a good tailor who can make salwars and blouses in and around t.nagar,alwarpet,mylapore,adyar area.If the tailor is good anyother area is also good.
Please anyone help me with providing information about this

also some tailors who do stitching for actresses are stictching for the general public. got this info very long time back.

Does anyone know in which store you get readymade 9 yards saree in chennai, or else any tailor who will stitch it for us when we give our saree.

I am on the look out for my friend who has to wear it for a function.

dear sundari,
let me help u here, just take a large broad 3" in breadth elastic which is available in most general stores having all threads and needles etc, get it to the hip size of ur friend now stretch it a little and stitch it up, now coming to the saree, just put the elastic around ur friends hip, then start tucking the saree like the folds first, put a tag with needle and thread, then go around her as u would tie, just keep tagging around, now pull out the elastic like a pyjama down, and do a proper stitching with all the tags in place, leave the thalappu, so that she can put it over and then keep it on the front according to the styles calling for, like half fold for different clans like brahacharanam, vadama and so on...hope been of help.. if u come to bangalore i will help doing this for u.. regards sunkan

At last i myself found out that in mylapore chennai dance costume tailors stitch readymade 9 yards saree as per our measurement. We have to give our saree and they stitch it for us for a charge of rs. 300 but time taken will be 2 -3 weeks.
