Found Designer Tailoring in Chennai

Hi Ladies-
I have seen several threads asking for good tailors for designer stitching in Chennai. So thought of sharing a tailoring shop that I came across. It is called Yazhini Silks Tailoring and they are located opposite Sekar Emporium in Kodambakkam. They do all sorts of embroidering, beads/stones work on blouses, chudidhar sets. They also stitch beautiful kids dresses.

I have given 2 designer blouses for stitching, will get it in 10 days time. But I was impressed with the designs they offered me for selection. If my blouses come out right, this could be the end of my search for good tailors..

do they stitch chudis??

It is located at the Kodambakkam signal, on the road opposite to Sekar emporium. I think I saw a hotel next to the tailors, called Hollywood hotel or something like that.

they do stitch chudis(rate Rs 120).

REgarding the blouses. I m keen too. have u collected the blouse and pls let us know how is it. And normally how long he takes to stictch.

I m going to chennai soon and would like to find out some enquires regarding shopping and stitching
I would like to know if i could get a tailor or sewing institute to draft a paper pattern for saree blouse . I have no problem sewing but for drafting its not so good. the next enquiry is if there is a shop for embroidering saree in 7days .Pls kindly help me if you have answers for my enquires. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi -

I havent collected my blouses yet...they mentioned about their tailor going on leave causing some delays and the diwali rush too..I too did not get time to go and collect. Planning to do so after diwali.

During the normal period, they promise to deliver within 10 days. But since this is the first time I am using their services, am not sure if they stick on to that. Anyways, I shall let you know as soon as I get the blouses.
