Garden Saree Sale

Hi,

Where can i get garden saree plain. Somebody told we can get the plain
garden sarees on sale. I dont know when garden sale started and where?
Can anybody knows the place in Chennai?

Garden Sales - Quite a loot I should say :) I am a regular for this sale. Yes, undoubtedly you get plain sarees. You should hurry up to the sale to get the best of the lot. You also get salwar materials - but usually these materials are not for Chennai Summer!

Usually, if I remember right, the sale happens in March - April. It will be advertised in "THE HINDU".

The sale is usually hosted in Chettiar Hall, T T K Road, Alwarpet.

Dear Rama,

you can get good garden sarees in "Bombay Dyeing" Shops. These BD shops are located in all over chennai. I know one shop at Pondy Bazzar and Mylapore.

there is a shop in Pondy Bazaar, the name eludes me. It is an exclusive Garden shop, just opposite to Ratna Stores. Yes yes the name is Milan Jyoti. Try there.

Garden sarees are 6 meters. that is why i prefer garden sarees. I am looking for plain sarees to do design in the saree.

Definately i will check t.nagar and purasai area.
