How many of you like Lahenga Choli?

I like Lahenga Choli very much.Especially on my marriage I took 1 month to decide my wedding lehnga.My wedding Lahenga was quiet heavy.

As all of you know lahenga is a traditional Indian dress of women of North India.Lahenga worn below waistline and extends to the toe, upper part of the body is covered with a Choli.Its more like blouse.

Gujrat and Rajasthan countryside ladies also wear Lahenga choli.They called it Ghagra Choli or Lahenga Odni.Their cholis are often loosely fitted and heavily ornamented with embroidery and mirror work, or shisha embroidery.All are almost similar.

So share how many of you wore sari and how many Lahenga-Choli on your wedding.

for my wedding i wore pattu saree and for reception silk saree with zardosi work.. my reception saree was very heavy.. found it difficult to carry myself but somehow managed...

nice thread...i love lehanga choli but my figure doesn't allow me to wear it anymore..... for my marriage i wore lehanga choli for jaimaal then for the pheraas i wore mustard yellow banarasi saree with maroon border and for reception i wore blue silk saree with pink border........i am planning to get another lehanga choli if i lose some weight for my brothers marriage not heavy one.

I love to wear lahenga choli but don't know how to wear and where to buy and etc. we were pattu sarees for marriages.

I think lahenga choli is very similar to pattu sarees.In north India,you can get lahenga choli from any clothes store.

As far wearing is concern its very easy just like long skirt and short top.All you need to arrange chunni properly.Nowadays many sites are available for giving tips and tricks for dressing. they will help you a lot giving information like what to buy,where to buy,how to wear bla-bla.

Let me give you an example I had very long hair.I was confused how to change style which suits me.Then I got one site where I uploaded my photo ,tried everystyle.Then I came to a good conclusion without ant regression.

All you need to put efforts for searching a good site.No need to worry gradually you will learn how to wear Lahenha-choli.Just try it

I love lahenga cholis. didnt get to wear one in my wedding as i didnt have much time to shop around.Where can i get a good one in bangalore or US.

i love them...specially the skyblue and pink combination and the orange and dark pink combination, white and blue to name some colors...i wore them for my engagement and also for some of the parties at my home after my wedding...
