u can find best tailors in King Koti area in Hyderabad. U can just take some plain sarees to them and they will do nice works for u.. (Maggam works) but i prefer to buy them mostly..

But for mah wedding i have done all embrodery work on Pattu sarees in a botique in Annanagar area in chennai... really awesome work...!!

I havent really bought embroidered sarees or dresses as such till now.
This time around, I am actually planning to buy plain dress materials and get the embroidery work on them. I heard from few if its done in way the dresses and the work stays longer.
So I am actually trying to find good tailors in hyd and vijayawada (though I prefer vijayawada )..
Hope fully can get done..
