Thanks for the explanation! I had found some step by step pictures online, but they were iyengar style, so I was concerned. Hopefully with a little practice I'll get something decent looking.

One doubt in this.. After tying, are there any tips for adjusting the saree while sitting down and getting up..
I somehow have my first length-wise-pleat pulling up while walking , showing off my ankles..

any suggestions ?
