As the diversity of our membership increases, IL’ites are sharing hobbies and interests like painting, embroidery, rangoli, visual design etc which are best expressed in pictures. To facilitate this exchange, we are increasing the size of pictures to 1MB from the earlier limit of 100K. Even though pictures massively slow down site performance, we are increasing this limit as we know our IL’ites will use this facility with discretion. If you notice someone uploading huge files when they can do without, please private message “admin”. If you haven’t checked out the embroidery works or fabric paintings or Mehendi designs at our Indian Art sub-forum, please do so right away. They are awesome and great treat to the eyes.
Hopefully, this attachment size increase will further deepen the sharing at IL
