Cheeniya's new sub-forum...

When the sun shines and spreads its warmth and cheer, each and everyone succumb to its rays. Your posts have covered a vast spectrum and each and every IL'ite can relate to it in someway. Even a person like me who is a careless observer, suddenly realized that there was something special going when a member called Cheeniya posted!
Excellence will never fail to shine.
Congratulations on being recognised for your wordsmithery. Must add, it is not just your words that enthralls everyone, it is the thought behind those words. You certainly deserve a sub-forum of your own.
Only, it need not be 'senile'! Excuse me dear Induslady for saying so....Why senile? Call it Cheeniya's Ramblings....what the heck is senile about his ramblings??

That was very sweet of you to shower such encomium on my thought process! But tell me why are you worried? Am I not supposed to be the one that should be having his face creased with the lines of worry?
And about that Senile.. It was at my request that the Title was accorded and Induslady stands acquitted of your allegation!
I chose this Senile thing as a safety valve for if I ever put my foot in my mouth, I and all of you can shrug it off as a trace of my senility!

Did you not remember that there is another senior citizen, who will be forced to give a serious thought about a "safety valve" to protect herself from the allegation of a similar nature - putting the foot in the mouth?

Why I crease my brow?? Well, it will be sooner than later that I will be 64 and although I do not want to belie my age, I surely Do Not want to be senile then...God willing! Thank you very much for your good wishes and hope I live upto the expectations of senior Ilites like you.
The feeling I have right now is not very different from the stage fright I felt on my first appearance on stage in my school. A chap ,normally considered highly garrulous, stood there tongue-tied with limbs as if transformed into granite by some sinister witch!
I have been yapping around at will for the last few weeks and this sudden spot light has thrown me totally out of gear but I guess I'll get over it.
I do look forward to more interactions with you!

There is a Four Way Test prescribed for all Rotarians to evaluate their actions. I likewise have a Four Way Test of my own to evaluate my posts!
1. Is it good to read?
2. Will it make any sense?
3. Will it enhance goodwill and camaraderie among Ilites?
4. Will it pass muster with stern judges like v24?
But in spite of all this strict QC, there may be a few 'not like cheeniya's' stuff! I crave your indulgence!

I am actually smiling now, no stern look. But thanks for saying stick, what with you referring to 'sinister witch' and 'stern look', I am grateful u did not call it a broomstick.

I saw yr reply to Bhargavi. I am sure you will do just fine. In IL, we are all white witches, we will charm you back into limber writing form.
