Dear IL’ites,
Today, we are introducing a new feature in Indusladies called “Social Groups”. Up until now, there is not an easier way for an IL’ite to identify other IL’ite who share the same passion or background or life stage. For example, how would you find out other IL’ites who have twins or who are interested in Veena or who are looking for a work from home opportunity. The only way is to read through the members posts and find out. Social Groups makes this discovery easier.
You can find the main page for social groups from the community drop down in the purple bar above. It lists all social groups, by category. From there, you should be able to join any social group. All the social groups that you have joined will be listed in your profile page. IL’ites who visit your profile page can see your interests and get in touch with you as needed.
We can have social groups for any number of things. To start off this feature, we created about 15 social groups under 6 categories. Of course, this is only to illustrate the feature. We want to build the social group list based on your suggestions. If you have an idea for a social group that might be of interest to several IL’ites,
please share your suggestion here. We will create social groups for those.
Hope this feature helps you to make more long lasting bonds that are based on common passion.
