Chithra Vishwanathan's recipes of the yesteryears and cooking tips! Hello Ladies, We are very happy to post here an introduction about another member in our specialist panel who joined us in August - Mrs. Chithra Vishwanathan. Mrs. Chithra is a senior citizen living in Chennai from the time she got married. She is originally from Madurai (South of Tamil Nadu), the place which is also famous for the unique delicious food made there. She is very modest to say that she started off as a novice in cooking , but after attending canning & preservation classes, bakery course for housewives in polytechnic & many other classes in the city , she started looking upon cookery as a creative art & started trying out all old fashioned & forgotten recipes of yesteryears. That is what she is concentrating on more now, than pastas & pizzas- that is well known to the younger generation. Chithra contributes her recipes regularly to various websites and have got her recipes published in a tamil magazine called - 'Mangayar Malar'. She has also appeared with her recipes and tips in a Tamil TV program called - 'Mangayar Choice'. To know more about her be sure to check the " Who Am I" thread.
Do not miss to check out her sub-forum Ask Chitvish. We are sure all of you are going to benefit a lot with Chithra's recipes posted in our IndusLadies community. So we thank her on behalf of everyone for accepting our invitation in being part of our specialist panel. Thank You, Mrs. Chithra.
