Dear Members, Please follow the below guidelines while quoting posts. In a nutshell, Quote only when necessary. Quote only whats necessary. The main purpose of quoting is to provide context for your reply. So, while quoting posts, delete out whatever isn't directly applicable to your reply. DO NOT use "Quote" as a substitute for "Post Reply". It is not courteous to quote entire posts without reason. You would unnecessarily increase the page length making browsing harder for members. Clicking on icon to the right of the quoted member's name (see attachment below) will take readers to the full original post. So quoting the entire post isn't useful either. Please DO NOT quote if you are just thanking people for participation in a thread or appreciating a craft work. Just referencing them by name in your response should be good enough. Note: icon takes members to the full original version of the quoted post. So, don't quote the entire post. ------------ Also See.. 1. http://www.indusladies.com/forums/faqs/12712-how-when-do-i-quote.html 2. http://www.indusladies.com/forums/faqs/22592-what-is-multi-quote.html 3. http://www.indusladies.com/forums/faqs/35823-responding-long-post-several-small.html
Dear Malathy, A very good suggestion and it would save lot of space if members follow this valuable suggestion. PS
Dear Indusladies !!! First of all wishing all your team members "Happy Navarathri". Very useful message relating to posting replies. I hope everyone follows this simple rule.
