Easy Member Search!

Dear IL'ites,

One more member-inspired improvement :) This improvement was inspired by Malspie, through her post here! Thank you Malspie for taking the time to provide the suggestion.

Many of you would like to search for other members in IL who share the same interest as you do or live closeby etc. We have now made it easier for you to do so.

To search for members, in the above purple bar click "Quick Links" -> "Search Members".

Obviously, the more updated your profile is, the more easier it is for others with similar interest to find you. Hence, please keep your profile updated.

If you would like to suggest improvements to our community, please post them in the "Suggestions and Feedback" section.

Great Idea, Malathy. And thanks Malspie for the idea.
I would like to place a small suggestion.
When I click the quick link and search members, in the form that appears, the questions are worded as "City I live" "State I live".
Obviously it refers to the city in which the member searched for lives. You may just leave it as "City" "State" etc.

That's a great idea point Varalotti. Suggestion has been implemented.

Just for background, it was worded that way because the primary context during which people would be reading those titles is when they are filling out the profile. At that instance, the earlier titles made sense. Now, we have made it generic so that it make sense both while filling and while searching. Thanks.
