Thanks for the compliments everybody. I have been putting the bommala koluvu since the last 5 years only. Though keeping the kolu has been a tradition in my granny's house (in Srkakulam, my native place), my in-laws did not have a tradition (they are from Mahaboobnagar) and when I suggested to my MIL, about 5 years back after the purchase of our new flat that I would like to keep a bommala koluvu, she readily agreed. As I am a working lady, I normally keep the koluvu for the last three days of navatri only. As aparajitha observed, I did set up my bommala koluvu on small themes like 'Jai HO Bharat' showcasing the culture and heritage of our country, 'Krihsnam Vande Jagat gurum' depicting krishna in various forms and styles, "Sri Krishna Leelalu' showing the various incidents in Lod krishna's life - like birth, his childhood (butter eating krishna), kalinga mardhini, goverdhana giri episode, krishna with gopikas and radha, etc. I also had a temple street set, the photo of which I will try to upload.
