First woman Home Minister of AP!

Hi Ladies, lets all congratulate our new and first women Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy of Andhra Pradesh



SETS A RECORD: New Home Minister P. Sabitha Indra Reddy being greeted by DGP S.S.P. Yadav at her home in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Patlolla Sabitha Indra Reddy (46) became the first woman Home Minister of the State after Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy allocated portfolios to all the 35 members of the Council of Ministers on Tuesday.

The three-time legislator served as the Mines and Geology Minister in the earlier government. She will head the 80,000 strong police force in the State at a time when the anti-naxalite operations have reached a decisive stage. Incidentally, her husband late P. Indra Reddy was also Home Minister in N. T. Rama Rao Cabinet in 1994-95.

This is the first time in AP politics history for women to become first Home Minister and also for both Husband and wife being as ministers in same category tough from different parties!!

It's really a remarkable acheivement in the Political history.
I am very glad to see first women Home Minister to state. I wish her all the best and hope she will come up with the expectations.
