Rottela panduga Festival in Nellore exclusively!!

Hello ILites,
Have u ever heared of Rottela pandaga which will be celebrated in Nellore in the month of MOharam. Its also called peerla pandaga.
ON occassion of this, all the ppl will exchange rotis as a symbol of their desires. There will be lot of rotis by name...
Pelli rotte.....for marriage
santhanam rotte....for children
chaduvu rotte....for education
vudyogam.....for job
within an year, whatever the desire is, tht will be fulfilled and ppl will come to release tht rotte to others who wants to hold it.

I have heard of this festival and also about the belief associated with it. This is one of the unique examples of the great inter-religious festival and both the communities getting involved symbolizing our "Unity in diversity".

Yes that's true.
If its possible for me, I never missed this festival.
Eventhough I won't eitehr accept or release the roti, but I do like tht culture which as you said a symbol of Unity in Diversity.
You can watch a good gathering there with lots of aunties,newly married and yet to get married ladies,gents,kids and it gives a festive mood.
You can find some old firends also there.
All this happens at Nellore Darga.
