Seva Café is an experiment in the shared joy that comes from humble giving and selfless service. With service, the mantra of "Atithi Devo Bhava" which translates to "The Guest is God," a deep and ancient Indian view that honors each guest with reverence is internalized.

When you dine at Seva Café, you are not viewed as a customer, but instead as their treasured guest, as part of their family.

Seva means service. Volunteering at Seva Café is a conscious exercise in staying tuned to that deep and true space of genuine service.

The wholesome vegetarian meals at Seva Cafe are cooked and served with love by volunteers and by a small, modestly paid staff - mostly graduates from Manav Sadhna's Earn N' Learn program. The menu changes daily and they offer a delicious variety of options, both Indian and continental.

When you dine at Seva Café, your meal is offered to you as a genuine gift, already paid for in full by previous guests. You become part of a Circle of Giving, which is modeled more closely to that of a family. Here, there are no bills. We leave it to you to pay it forward with your heart.

All of our costs and income are made clearly transparent, and 100% of any profits we take in are used to support social service projects.

I'll definitely make it a point to visit Seva cafe if I ever visit Ahmedabad. Thank you for introducing us to this great concept Cafe. It is indeed 'Living is Giving'.

Oh! I too have heard about the place and its great ambiance, courtesy hospitality and lip-smacking food. It can't get better than this. I'll surely plan my next visit to Ahmedabad keeping in mind a sure visit to the Seva Cafe.

We all have visited restaurant or Cafe's but, I guess it'll be an entirely different experience to be offered a menu catalogue with only the list of dishes and no rates on the right. However, I'm sure people must be paying enough they feel thats worth of the message that goes along with this Concept Cafe.

It is surprising that you haven't heard about Seva cafe. Yes, I understand many people in Ahmedabad are just too skeptical about the concept of 'No Bills'. They feel there must be some garbad. I'd request you to once go there and I'm sure, you'll change your mind.
