 The Puzzle of the Jhulte Minar
Hi,
Does anyone know what is the puzzle of the Swinging Minarets at Ahmedabad?
You may not be allowed to climb up this monument for safety reasons, but you hold your breadth in wonder when you see it. It was built by the architect Siddi Bashir. To this day, builders are unable to figure how this monument was built that makes it swing. Three stories high and with carved stone balconies, the minarets were damaged when the 2001 earthquake struck Gujarat.
