When greeted with Kaif halook (How are you ?)

The reply should be:

Ana Bikhair, shukran. Wa Anta?
(I am Fine, Thankyou, And you?)

Ana is "I" and Anta is "you"

Somewhere I read for you its Anta for male and Anti for female. Could anyone clarify. But I have heard the word anta often.
