What is the cost of living in kuwait

One of our friends has got a interview lined up for a company in kuwait. he is married with 2 kids (both are not school going still) , he would like to know the cost of living there. for a family of 4. so that he can negotiate his pay.

I'm not sure if its late too reply but for a family of four persons living in Kuwait would be as follows:

Rent for a two bedroom apt KD 200/- it ranges from KD 175 to ...........In some apts the water/ electricity is inclusive of rent, some may include water but not electricity or the other way round.
Maid from 7am until 6pm if KD 70/-. Some come for few hours to do a few chores depends on the persons needs they charge something like KD 30 min this is per month.
Food KD 75/- the minimum or more depends on your kinda spending
Indian schools per term KD 80/- plus transport by school bus i thinking is something like 120/- for the year.

I guess this is a rough picture for a middle class family.. the rest i.e. clothes, social gatherings, entertainment etc depends on oneself.

Im new in Kuwiat too. have been here few months myself.. but i have gatherd that living in Kwi aint that expensive..Flats are not very exp.. Salmiya is a gud area to be in U find nice expat commmunity here or abbasiya as well..Its easy to find a 2 B/R in 200 KD a month . water electricity mostly are included in the rent itself so not exp.. Any more specific queries i would be most willign to answer..
