: The Three States of Livingbeings
Namasthe for all ILs, PART-1
All of us are aware that there exists three states of living for living beings
They are (1) jagrdavastha (state of consciousness)
(2) swapnavastha (state of dreams)
(3) susuptyavastha (state of deep sleep)
Furthur All Living beings can be classified into 3 categories.
They are (1) All humanbeings (2) All Animal life (3)All plant life
The first category Humanbeings enjoy all the 3 above mentioned states daily
throughout their life.That is they are conscious about their working (Existence) for some time in a day and they enjoy dreams during their sleep for sometime ,and they enjoy deep sleep for sometime in a day daily .But the second category,Aimals are always in the state of dreams and enjoy deep sleep
for sometime in a day.They never enjoy state of consciousness. The third category, plants are always in the state of sleep.They can never enjoy the other two states. There is good significance for these states.More in next part

I have gone through ur doubt and i will clarify it.All animals are not always in the state of dreams.They have only two states. Dreamstate and sleepystate.
All activities like searching,getting(hoarding)consuming food,feeding their children ,mating with other sex,begetting progeny,fighting with each other or with other animals,doing service to their masters(pet animals)will be done in
dreamy state.They can never come to conscious state.This is applicable to all
birds,aqatic,Terrestrial animals. Of course The time and duration of sleepy
state differs from species to species and environemental,and climatic conditions.For instance a Polarbear go to sleepy state during severe winter for nearly six months. During that time it cannot get food .But it won't die.some birds like bats owls wake up
at nights insearch of their prey and take rest(sleepy state)during day time

Last week we learnt the Three states and three catagories of all living beings,To proceed furthur let us start from the 3rd category "PLANT LIFE". We
know that all plant life are living beings.They cannot move like other two
catagories (Animal life,human life) insearch of food,shelter for protection from weather,enemiesetc.They have to prepare food by themselves using natural,sorrounding sources like sun light,corbon dioxide,water etc .If any one or all of these are not available (unfavourable conditions)they have to die Not only that animal and human life are enemies to them.All plantlife also are having feeligs of sorrow,joy etc which was proved by famous scientist JAGADEESH CHANDRA BOSE .As per 'karma' theory this is one form of body
which some JEEVAS(sukshma sareera)to take according to the sin made by them in their previous birth/births .Anyhow plant life (in this birth),as they do
not posses any brain they cannot do any good(punya) or bad (papa) to enjoy in
the future births.But it is true that the other two (human beings,plantlife)solely
depend on plant life for their food and shelter(survival)........more in next part

Dear Ilits Namasthe,
In the last part we discussed about the dependancy of Animal and Human life solely on plantlife. As per upanishad the Life will be entered to the male body of (Animal/Human) species through food only. The food is obtained from plant life only. Even carnivorus animals like Tiger,Lion etc depend upon plant life indirectly for their food. Realising the importence of plants Hindus used worship certain plants like Neem ,Peepal,tulasi,etc as Gods and Godesses. Food is Life.
Now when we observe the second category of livingbeings I.e
Animal Life , it is given an additional feature by Nature (God) .That is MOVEMENT.They can move from one place to another place unlike plant life.
This feature is necessary for them in gettiing food,taking shelter and to protect them selves from enemies and weather calamities to a certain extent .
We observe that certain type of birds migrate from one continent to another continent for one season for food and water and go back in another season.
common birds in our sorroundings move daily from their nests in search of food, for themselves and for their kids and return back to their nests at dawn.
This phenomenon can be observed from Ants to Big Wild animals like Tigers.
But all these actions perfomed by them are all Invoulantary.They may Hurt or
even kill others.But not with intension.They do not posses mind to thik so
there is no question of gaining PAPA(sin) or punya(favour).A dog is a faithful
animal and thus it is helping to his master. But it is not a favour (help) to it's
master it is its Nature. Bye More in next part

blessed by nature(God) with an additional feature of "INDEPENDENT THINKING
along with SPEECH". of course speech is to exchange of one's thought with other.This is almost a BOON to him.At the same time it is also a curse to him.Let us examine how it is a boon.Man is able to make his life happy by
exploiting the resources of nature day by day.This is nothing but our vast
scientific and technological development only.All of us are aware of the fact
that the greatest achievements of moderen man are two.The first one is
COMMUNICATION.with this onlynow we are able to exchange our viewes with
each other through WWW and network .(our IL community website) sitting at
our own places.with this technology only the Astonauts who landed on the moon are able to view and talk to their family members and viceversa as if they are all at one plce.The second one is TRANSPORT.with this technique
only man is able to land on the Moon and returned also safely.Is this all not due to thinking power of man?We shall see How it is a curse to humankind

Dear ILites,
Last Time we discussed about The boon given by GOD to man i.e The
independant power of thinkinking.Of course with this only he is able to make
his place of living as Heaven as he can.But the main purpose of Granting this boon is not for the Enjoyment with his community on this Earth but to utilize
his power to Realize" What He Is"(self realisation). Because of all the different
types of livingbeings Mankind is only species who is able to comprehend the
Nature(GOD) with this extraordinary power .But how many people are thinking
on these lines? Infact they are misusing this power to develope Jealousy,hatredness,conspiracy against each other amongthemselves.This is
being done by some of them intentionally i.e consciously.These actions yield
results(karma)to be enjoyed by the individual(jeeva)in his/her future birth or births.This is the CURSE of the super power for mankind.It is just like a sword
given to him.It can be utilized for good purposes as well as to commit sucide
himself.Of course in this power of independent thinking power of wisdom
(Discretionary power) is also included.That we have to develope for peaceful
living.For example we have to just thinkthat" Is there any end to these worldly
pleasures? What is death ? After death where do we go? Why there are so many
disparities in our humanlives?What our elders say?Is there any truth in it?" In
this way we can put so many questions by ourselves and put efforts to get answers to them. More in next time Bye Sd/sastry
