Milk - ½ litre
Sugar - ½ cup
Saffron - a tiny pinch ( warm & powder)
Soak & grind to a paste:
Almonds - 10 (deskin by soaking in hot water)
Cashews - 10
Khus khus - 1 tbsp
MW milk Hi for 5 mts in a big casserole.
Add the paste, mix well & MW medium for 5 mts.
Add sugar, spices & stir very well & MW Hi for 2 mts.
Chill & use.
This proportion gives a thin payasam.
If you prefer it a little thick, add 2 tbsp freshly grated soft coconut to be ground with other ingredients.
Or you can increase the nuts to get it thick.
