Flour - 340 gms
Butter - 175 gms
Sugar - 175 gms
Chopped dates & walnut (can use cashewnuts also) - 340 gms
Apple puree - 300 ml
Milk - 2-3 tbsp
Ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
Soda - 1 ½ tsp
Topping:
Chopped dates & nuts - 1 tbsp
Sugar - 2 tsp
Ground cinnamon - ½ tsp
Sieve flour.
Put flour in a bowl & rub in fat till the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Add sugar, cinnamon powder, dates & nuts.
Make a well in the centre, add apple puree.
Dissolve soda in milk & add to the mixture.
Mix well to a dropping consistency.
Pour into a prepared loaf tin.
Mix the ingredients for topping & sprinkle on top.
Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or till done.
