Learn how to make Sandesh, a traditional bengali sweet.
INGREDIENTS:
- Paneer – 200 gms
- Sugar – 200 gms
PREPARATION METHOD:
- Rose essence or cardamom powder, as per taste.
- Heat the mixture on stove top.
- When the mixture starts leaving the sides, remove.
- Keep the greased sandesh mould ready.
- Stir the mixture and when it starts solidifying, make small balls and press on the mould.
- Press each ball into a different mould to get the shape.
- They will set soon; then remove them.
- Cool and store.
NOTES AND TIPS:
- If one does not have mould, they can be shaped like peda.
- The weight of sugar has to be equal to the weight of paneer.
