Chennai Express movie directed by Rohit Shetty is the latest of Sharukh Khan Films and has finally arrived at the desired station. A long journey from the launch, the shooting schedules to the intense promotion campaigns; Chennai Express has definitely left no stones unturned for picking up as many fans on the way as possible. Shahrukh Khan also visited the sets of popular Indian television shows like Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chasma on Star Plus for the launch of a Chennai Express game.

Subtle, not too loud and yet reaching out to the fans is how the promotional campaigns were planned. Chennai Express movie, the latest Hindi movie has Deepika Padukone (who is still riding high on the Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani wave), the Bollywood diva from Bangalore playing a South Indian beauty in the Bollywood movie. The film was earlier meant to be released on the 8th of august, however, shifted to today the 9th of August coinciding with Eid and thus, expecting more footfalls at the theatres.

Going by the trailer, Chennai Express looks like a good entertainer, a complete family film and with the festival season here, it looks like a good treat for the family movie watchers. The dialogues like “Meri dictionary mein impossible naam ka word hi nahi”, to which Deepika Padukone replies “Kahan se kharidi aisi bakwas dictionary” are in the face comedy which brings an instant smile. Good picturisation, South Indian visual treats, comedy, the beautiful Deepika Padukone, who looks gorgeous in her Kancheevarams and of course, the King Khan Shahrukh; the film has the perfect combination of a masala blockbuster.
