Indian Idol Junior, Sony Entertainment Television with this reality music show for kids aged between 5 and 15 has managed to bring immense value to the world of reality TV.

If you have seen the show once, you are sure to wait for the next weekend to catch up on the next two episodes. Kids with superb talent, humility, with a positive attitude, super performances will woo you to get back there again and again.

With kids who have become household names with their immense singing talent, very encouraging judges Shekhar Ravjiani, Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Dadlani; and of course, the very supportive hosts Karan Wahi and Mandira Bedi, the talent show has a warmth like no other. There have been several celebrities on the show too like the actor Farhan Akhtar, Vidya Balan, Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan and Loy and others who too seemed to have instantly got along with the kids and become a part of the show, encouraging and inspiring all the way. There is camaraderie among the kids, good interaction and vibes between the participants, judges and the host. It shows a lot of time spent together meaningfully and it is really nice to see the kids blossom with every episode.

The parents’ day episode was one emotional and moving episode dedicated to all parents who have been there for their kids to ensure that they reach for the stars and achieve it. There is tough competition that exists however, the innocence of the kids and the love they share for each other too is evident. It is however, sad to see a good participant and a kid that you have watched performing for several weeks and grown attached to, leave in the eliminations. The rule of “let the best man win”, rules supreme here. This platform is surely going to be a stepping-stone for each of them to build a future that they desire and what they have learnt here will lay a strong foundation for them to build on.
