    Some marriages are made in heaven
    Others in hell
    A few in bed
    And so "Here lies the taciturn lover"
    Rest in peace, youth. Rest in peace.

    Some marriages begin with I do
    Others with Why Me?
    Most with star gazing
    Blame the dark mischief of balding priests.

    Some marriages are solemnised in fire, earth, rice
    And every other spice
    Rubies and Diamonds,
    Washed out beach sands
    Or the bark
    Of an unsuspecting tree.

    And then there are some
    Not us, of course
    And then there are some
    Not you, no siree,
    Who pledge their lives to each other
    For better
    Or for worse
    All for a demonic nun
    On a killing spree.

    Thanks, I was feeling left out :( and was wondering what it meant (last two lines) for a long time :confused::facepalm:, so anyhow put likes today.

    Oh, sorry. Inside joke.

    I had the opportunity to watch Conjuring 2 last week. My partner kept holding my hand every time the demonic nun popped up on screen.

    So yeah, we have a funny idea of romance.
