    Friends,

I recently landed in India from USA, and found very strict baggage allowance on domestic connecting flight, even though the international travel was well within 24 hours. Looks like this has become a norm with all the carriers.

Any airlines that allows international baggage as the domestic carriers are charging whopping amount for every extra Kilo or a way around to avoid the baggage cost? Looking for a solution for my way back travel.

    Thanks in advance.

Did you travel with Spicejet? They have changed their baggage policy now.

You can call the various carriers in advance and find out. I believe Air costa still honors the international carrier's baggage allowance. Do get an email confirmation from them to avoid last minute hassle.

If its possible, you could try going the road route. Engage a car, it works out cheaper if 4 of you are travelling.
