Besides some sweets, Ihave made these mini Satpura. Need some savoury items besides sweets. Thought of sharing with you.

Thank you Magee. I assume pather pheni is sweet. Satpura is not sweet. Recipe is simple. i take 3 heaped table spoons of Maida/plain flour. Add half a teaspoon salt. By adding water, make a stiff dough. This dough needs to rest for atleast one hour. Knead a bit again, and make 7-8 small balls. Rest them for 5 minutes. Them roll out each ball into thin chappati. Smear melted ghee on it. Cut vertical 5-7 strips. Role these strips on each other to form a small tube. Role out this tube into a small disc. Deep fry in medium hot oil. Satpura is ready. happy Holi
