    hi friends,
if u hav left over idlis or fresh idlis, try this and tell ur feedbacks.it was a hit in my place,so thought to share.
    ingredients:
    for fry:
    1.idli-5
    2.maida-1cup
    3.corn flour-1/4 cup
    4.chilli powder-1 or 2spoon.
    5.gingergarlic paste-1spoon.

    for chilli gravy:
    1.big onion-1
    2.tomato-1 or 2
    3.chilli powder-1spoon
    4.garam masala-1spoon
    5.jeera or aachi chicken masala-1spoon
    6.salt to taste
    7.green chilli
    8.ginger garlic paste-1spoon

    preparation:
    drychilli:
    1. cut idlis into small cubes
    2. mix maida,cornflour,(1;1/4),gingergarlicpaste(for 5 idlis 1spn)and 1spn chilli powder(just to add color).dip the idlis in this paste and deep fry it.
    making gravy:
1.heat oil, season it .add 1 spn gg paste, saute it .add 1greenchilli(just for aroma),then add 1onion.after saute add 1 0r 2tomatoes.saute it well .add 1spn garam masala,1spn chilli powder,1spn jeera powder or chicken masala(i use aachi chicken masala).saute it nicely .add fried idli and little water(just for making wet, otherwise after masala coating ,it will be dry)mix it well .
hint;u can try without step2 also, but u hav to saute idli seperately in a pan with just 2 spn oil.taste differ.

    Shobana,

Nice to see your fusion recipe. Your recipe reminds me of kaima idli which I ate last year. I will try that and will let you know soon. Do we get aachi brand powders here?
