Episode 14

Bharath was so ferocious. The ginger pongal and sugar sambhar kindled his vengeance more.
He wanted to take Sindhu out of the kitchen as he doesn’t want any comedy aka tragedy to happen during lunch time. He was thinking of some plan to take Sindhu out.

Meanwhile Sindhu was looking for an opportunity to spoil the lunch of Bharath. She cannot depend on sugar and salt anymore. She analyzed the kitchen what else she could do.

She thought “By now, this guy would have been so cautious in the food. I cannot attack him by food now. What else can be done??” she analyzed the kitchen and browsed through the hall.

“The house has been well maintained with all amenities. Let me check what this creature is doing”
She moved to the room.

“Hey Mr.Centipede. Whats up”

“Better you stay calm. I am so vicious enough to kill you”

“Ha ha ha! Really. Why? Do you like sambhar and pongal that much? Do you want some more?”

“Wait for your turn buddy. I will crash you into pieces. Stop all your plays right here”

“you started it off Mr.Centipede”

“Stop calling me like that”

“Oh! You don’t like being called like that”

“NO”
“Then I am going to call as Mr.Centipede only. Mr.Centipede. you smell worser than millipede”

Bharath jumped to catch her. Sindhu ran around the cot and escaped by flying out of the room.

2 days later

The couple was invited to Sindhu’s house for return lunch. The event went well with loads of fun and chit chats.

After lunch was over, all gathered around in the hall and discussing.

Nandhan started “Bharath! I want to gift you travel vouchers for honeymoon. Tell me where you would like to go Shimla, Goa or Andaman. I have friends so it could be arranged in a week”

Both Bharath and Sindhu were equally shocked. They have absolutely no plans for honeymoon. And they don’t want to go with each other

Sindhu looked at Bharath what he is going to reply.

“Sorry Uncle! I don’t have leave balance. I have to join office by coming Monday. I am planning to go later”

Ganapthy “But if you go later, that’s not honeymoon son. That would be a normal trip. I don’t want my daughter to miss the fun”

If I go with your daughter then that’s not honeymoon Uncle, it is hell moon

“Please try to understand Uncle. I cannot take leaves now. Will plan after a month. Trust me”

Bharath was quite sure Nandhan and Ganapathy was not convinced. But he has no other go. He doesn’t want to risk himself by going alone with her

Sindhu sighed in relief for Bharath not accepting the travel offer. Who will travel with this centipede? Irritating idiot.

After the formalities were over, Bharath and Sindhu started home. Sindhu was so happy that honeymoon plan was cancelled.

“Thank you Mr.Centipede”

“If you keep on calling me like that, get out of my bike.” He stopped the bike at the corner of the road

Sindhu tightened her grip and stayed on the bike. She laughed aloud and said “Thank god! I was afraid that you would accept immediately on getting something free showing all your teeth”

Bharath kicked the bike with full force and drove so fast. For every sudden brake Sindhu tightened her grip not to collide on him.

“Go slow your monster”

“This is my bike Ms. Bitch. Stop ordering me”

They reached home. Menaka was gone to temple. There was no one at home

“Do you want coffee Mr.Centi…” she stopped at the mid

He started at her. “I will prepare my coffee if I need. You better stay within your limits”

She raised her eyebrows and gave a wicked smile. She sat on the sofa with leg over the other leg and gestured him shooking her index finger

“Prepare a coffee then for me as well. Come on quick”

Bharath closed his eyes to calm down.

Sindhu kept on pulling his legs. “going along with you is called WHAT??honeymoon. no way man. It is hell. Thank god, you didn’t accept. I was so afraid you would just grab as you get it for free. You will even won’t miss the poison if you are getting for free right Mr.Centipede? Ha ha ha. Crazy fellow. This funny face in Andaman, smelling like a millipede. Ha ha ha.. so crazy. I couldn’t even imagine” she laughed continuously non stop

Bharath was breathing heavily. He was fuming in anger.

With that feeling not reduced he dialed Ganapthy “Uncle. I would like to go to Andaman. Please arrange”

Sindhu was shocked. “Hey what are you doing?” she whispered

“Yes Uncle! Sindhu wants to go. I am doing it for her only. I can arrange for leaves. Not an issue. Let me know the dates. Yes Uncle. Bye”

He threw the phone on the sofa. Sindhu was standing still panicked by his sudden decision.

He pushed her on the sofa and nailed her placing his hands on both side of her. He was breathing so heavily. Sindhu was so scared.

She whispered “Sorry! Please cancel this program.” She placed her hands on her ears

He shooked his head from left to right “No way. Be ready to taste the hell” he pushed away her face with his index finger and went to his room

Tears rolled out of her eyes. I think I have crossed my limits bit more.

Bharath phone rang. Sindhu noticed Ganapathy was calling. With the trembling hands, she attended the call

“H..e..l..l…o”.

“Hello! Sindhu! Inform Bharath that arrangements are made. You will get the tickets by tonight.
Pack everything. You guys are starting by day after tomorrow. Ok..bye”

Sindhu stood like a statue.
