I'm favorably disposed toward most animals ...
Re: cats .. they probably have less social intelligence relating to humans? Depends on how they are socialized as kittens I guess. Here's some leopard love for you!

    Answer to #5393

Sir David Attenborough, English broadcaster and naturalist. Considered a 'National Treasure' of England, he is best known for writing and presenting the nine 'Life' series.

Image #1: Origin of Species by Charles Darwin to refer to his long and illustrious history of making and presenting television series on the evolution of life on earth.

Image #2: The game of LIFE to refer to his most popular work.

Image #3: A book on natural history referring to his profession as a natural historian.

Image #4: Insect in Amber. Sir David's wrote and presented the BBC documentary, the Amber Time Machine in which he searches for the identities of ancient insects preserved in amber. The movie Jurassic Park paid homage to Sir David by using the blood of a mosquito trapped in amber as the basis for the genetic engineering of dinosaurs. Incidentally, the character of Richard Hammond, the man who created Jurassic Park, was played by Richard Attenborough, who was David Attenborough's older brother.

Image #4: The movie Gandhi was directed by Richard Attenborough, elder brother of David Attenborough.

Image #5: Planet Earth. Also the name of a popular nature series, that was narrated by Sir David. The US version was dubbed over in the voices of a few Hollywood celebrities but if you truly want to enjoy the show as it was made, find an original UK version. There is nothing like Sir David's voice when it comes to the narration of nature documentaries!

Image #6: A pitcher plant named for Sir David, the
Nepenthes attenboroughii. He has the distiction of having a number of new species and fossils named after him.

2015 — I was naive, carefree and careless here! Speak my mind, oh! I'm with friends kind of assurance.

2016 — I'm wary of my interactions & self-moderate my presence now. I end up editing my posts 10 times to even write one sentence that is palatable and creates no rifts. If I find this conditioned behaviour exhausting and stifling then I'll drop my id and poof! but if I sustain this travesty of "sweet", "ingratiating", "polite" and "nice" conduct to promote peace, harmony and sanctity in this thread then I may continue. If I disappear, I tried, and tried to fit in this group but miserably failed.

P.S: Had to proof read million times and took down twice to check if I'm offending anyone again.
P.S.S: Elfie, any case take down
P.S.S.S: But there is nothing offensive I said! Who knows whose nostrils will flare up.
    P.S4: Take it down!
P.S5: Argh! edit time window lapses

Re: Let's Fire Up Those Neurons! -- Puzzle Index

Again, I'm scared of such surveys and questionnaire afraid that I'll be honest.
Though I'm equally capable of filling forms that will receive 10 likes, wah wah!, smooth and sweet, buttery, creamy, ganache, politic ...but ...but what is the purpose of such phoney feedback compromising my principles unless there is incentive for every respondent. Ruched shirts are a craze this season! Am I getting one for free?

-- unrelated to you viswa --

P.S: Again proof read, worded politely and looks okay me. Mod feel free to remove my posts that are deemed improper as I'm scared of expressing "opinions" on this thread these days. Such a tough task! Again I'm always a click away from nuking my id battling with my contrived self o'dear! how much more gentility can I endure.

There were 4 @mention notifications from this thread. I read the pages and the nostalgic references to Gauri and my antics here. I'm so scared to comment on any "personal" or "sentiments" associated with this thread lest I'm grossly misread for the billionth time. Yes, I read those fond memories.

P.S: Please feel to moderate/edit/delete/vaporise any posts, please please please if anyone deems inappropriate. Again these posts were written after straining my neurons to comply with "well-mannered" and "civility" prescribed in online interactions.

I am rooting for 1,000 likes is equal to one Ruched shirt with IL. Keep writing and you may have more than what you like.

You are the sweetest sugarcane writer in IL be it a snippet or a response, who in the right frame of mind will get offended by your words?

Actually, using the influence of @Gauri03, the moderator of Education and Personal Growth, I am thinking of recommending introduction of etiquette award in 2016. gigglingsmiley

Jeeze! If you keep moderating your own free flow of writing at the current level, eventually, all you would be able to say are "Good morning" or "Good luck". I would retire from IL if I hear only just that from Ms E.
